Executive Board Meeting

There will be an Executive Board meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the AYC office. Note: Only members of the student Executive Board need to attend.

AYC Bar Meeting Next Thursday!!

Members please attend the AYC Bar meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Anchorage School District Education Building (5530 E. Northern Lights Blvd. 1st floor boardroom). Elections will be held at this meeting nominees must be active to appear on the ballot and you need to be an active member to vote.

Board of Directors Meeting

There will be a Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm at ML&P. Note: Only the adult and student members of the Board of Directors need to attend.

AYC Raffle Still Going On!

Help sell raffle tickets for AYC. You may pick your tickets up any time at the AYC office. A BIG THANKS to all volunteers who have helped sell raffle tickets at the local Carrs grocery stores for the past couple of weeks.

Remember: Students who sell the most tickets or the winning ticket will receive prizes. Active Seniors planning to apply for a scholarship are required to sell raffle tickets this year, since most of the money earned is used for scholarships.

Race Judicata: Help Raise Money for AYC

You don’t have to be fast, just be willing to have fun. Race Judicata is a five kilometer out and back, starting and finishing at Westchester Lagoon. The race will start at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 2 and head towards downtown on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. The race is open to any and all members of the community and we encourage both runners and walkers to take part in the event. The top three male and female finishers will receive prizes. The entry fee is $15 prior to race day.

Note: AYC students who sign up for the race, please let the office know, so that you can get credit. Also if you would like to help set up/take down for the race, please sign up at the AYC office.
